Our Story:
In many ways, the Wray name is synonymous with Hutchinson Kansas itself. In 1939 Wray and sons roofing was founded. Still in business today, Wray and Sons has been the industry leader in South Central Kansas for more than 80 years. In 1997 Ryan Wray, a grandson of Wray and Sons founder Bernie Wray, began working for the family owned business. Starting out as a laborer, Ryan learned the business eventually working up the chain until he became the project manager.
After working for the roofing company for 11 years, Ryan started Wray Bend Architectural Metal Company. While at the roofing company, Ryan had overseen some projects that utilized architectural metal cladding systems, and enjoyed the process. Today Wray Bend boasts a diverse portfolio. We have worked on all types of structures, branching beyond just architectural metal, to many different types of systems.
